Something of the controversial nature; a drawing for a friend’s mother.
Went for a kind of punky, gothic look.

An animation done for my final semester at the University of Derby.
The animation was created to express the quality of island life using a combination of hand drawn traditional and digital animation.
This is the final outcome of the animation I made for my first semester of my third year. The film is based on Franz Kafka’s “The Metamorphosis” and focuses on the main character’s sister, Grete.
The development of the film really helped me break out of the usual comfort zone in ways of working and style, but there’s definitely a lot I still have left to learn.
